Pampasar village is located in Purunakot Tahasil of Anugul district in Odisha, India. It is situated 35 kilometers away from the sub-district headquarter Purunakot and 35 kilometers away from the district headquarter Anugul.
Pampsar is the entry point to the Satkosia reserved forest. Satkosia is a paradise of immense scenic charm. It is one of the best ecosystems in the country, representing a diverse floral and faunal extravaganza. The nearby place is Tikarapda Wildlife Sanctuary.
