After the end of 3days celebration of Raja festival in Odisha on the 4th day, the festival is concluded with this ritual which is called "basumati snana" (Odia: ବସୁମତୀ ସ୍ନାନ) locally. Basumati means "the earth" and snána means "bath". Here the stone made hand grinder (silapua) is used as the symbol of the mother earth of Bhumi. Ladies bath the grinding stone with turmeric paste and adore with flower, sindoor, etc. All types of seasonal fruits are offered to mother Bhumi.
